Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tradee ("Tradee", "we", "us"), an AI receptionist and business management platform operated from Australia. By signing up, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Tradee provides a cloud-based phone answering service, customer relationship management, quoting, invoicing, and marketing tools designed for Australian trade businesses. When you subscribe, we provision you a phone number and an AI receptionist that answers calls on your behalf.

2. Account registration

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate business to use Tradee.

3. Subscription and payment

Tradee is offered on a monthly subscription basis in Australian dollars. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. Payment is processed by Stripe.

New accounts include a 14-day free trial with full access. No charge is made during the trial period unless you upgrade. At the end of the trial, if you have not subscribed, your dashboard access will be restricted until you subscribe.

4. Call recording and consent

Tradee's AI receptionist records and transcribes incoming calls so that we can text you the details. Callers are notified at the start of every call that the call is being recorded and are given the option to hang up. By using Tradee, you agree that call recordings and transcriptions may be stored on our servers and processed by AI systems for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

You are responsible for complying with Australian telecommunications and privacy law in your jurisdiction, including any state-specific recording rules. If you operate in a state with stricter consent requirements, you must configure your greeting to obtain any additional consent required.

You may not use Tradee to:

6. Data and privacy

Your business data, customer records, call recordings, and transcriptions remain your property. We process them on your behalf solely to deliver the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. See our Refund Policy for more.

8. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Tradee depends on third-party providers (Twilio, Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic) and we are not liable for their outages. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Tradee is provided "as is". We are not liable for lost profits, lost leads, missed jobs, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and posted on this page at least 14 days before taking effect.
